 Jay Nocats is excited to announce the release of his 5th single, Party With Us today.

 

New Single Release Friday, June 5, 2026, Sad Songs

 Sad Songs is a DJ Mix based on the first song I wrote at age 14.  This was a fun production that I added a little rap regarding this in the mix.  

 Sad Songs will be available everywhere on Friday, June 5, 2026.  I'm hoping to release the next one in a week or two.  I'm happy to have more songs released to be performing live.  Hoping to see you during one of my live performances on Twitch or Twitter and now also TikTok!

TicTok Live Stream Surprises

 I wasn't live streaming on TikTok but I was posting short videos.  I wanted to live stream but they had requirements of many more followers and views than I had so I thought that it would be a very long time before I had those numbers and so I had no plans to live stream on TikTok.  

 I was surprised to see a notification to press a button to go live.  I didn't actually believe it, I thought that after tapping that button it would then deny me to live stream and inform me about what statistics my channel would need to actually go live.  So without much hope, I tapped it and it seemed to be live streaming from my phone.  Since it was my first time, I wasn't even sure if I actually was live streaming but after a while I realized that I was and that was a nice surprise.

There was a chat on the screen and there were updates appearing indicating viewers and it seemed to be updating more frequently than any other platform that I've used for live streaming.  I even responded to chat messages and it worked so well that I did it for 2 hours!

I talked about my singles and played acoustic guitar and sang with my single release tracks for accompaniment and what else is amazing is that there appeared an AI description of the content of the stream, and it was accurate!  Not only that but when I made a little change and was discussing how I was learning to read music and the issues with how it was not easy to learn that earlier, the AI updated the subject and again, it was accurate.   

So the surprises were that I was actually able to live stream, that I live streamed, that I had viewers, and that they chatted with me and that there were AI updates to the subject of the stream and they were accurate.  That's a lot of surprises.  Hope to see you in the chat on one of my live streams, see the links on this blog on the upper right for the icons to click or tap to take you to those platforms.  I will on Instagram, X/Twitter, and this blog, when I plan on going live in the future since I now know that I can. - Jay Nocats 

New YouTube Short Video Every Day or 2

YouTube shorts are fun so I also started to release some and I was really surprised how I got some views, hundreds actually.  Then one was over 1,000.  They are not edited and I record them directly on the cell phone so it's quicker to go from idea to posting it.  Here's the one that is the most popular, not my own favorite, but that's that way it goes with  music also.

 Planning to do one a day, see you there too.

New Single Released On All Streaming Services Friday, Feb. 20, 2026

Jay Nocats second single released is "What They Say."  See video below.  On YouTube, the first video shows the single release cover art image.  YouTube creates that video when a song is released and those are on the Releases tab of the YouTube channel.  When there is a video uploaded like the lyric video uploaded for the first single, LRITW, that is located on the Home tab REPLACING the default lyric video.  If a video hasn't yet been uploaded then the automatic video generated by YouTube is also placed on the Home tab of the official artist channel.  I'll be making a video showing this on my second YouTube channel, "No Dough DIY," coming soon.  I have two channels, one is my official artist channel and the other is for everything else that I do and I do a lot of DIY projects because I have... YouTubers may find something in What They Say that relates to the changes and the various apocalypses on YouTube over the years like the adpocalypse and others.

There was a time when the monetization requirements changed and it was a big shock and setback for meany YouTubers.  Other times there were other rule changes creating additionally custom named -pocalypses and this song may fit one or more of them.
 

New Lyric Music Video Released Tonight, Valentine's Day, 2026.

Official Artist Channel is up and has first video of first single released.  Another single is coming in less than a week, available Friday, Feb. 20, 2026.  Will be posted next.  Happy Valentine's Day see you everywhere on social media. :-)
